If you celebrated Jesus’ birth on the day of Tammuz’ birth, knowing of the helliday’s pagan origins and that God calls it an abomination, that we are not to worship Him with any impure pagan traditions, then you are guilty of double dealing with God. Of deceit and “counterfeiting the pure and the real with what is base admixture and alloy” (syncretism by using “christianized” pagan holidays and traditions in honor of Christ). Paganism is unredeemable. Repent…the very syncretism of combining Baal worship with the worship of God that was done by the Israelites is done by the Church today through this helliday and God must chastise His own for it as He did the Israelites. One day the Lord will say, Depart from Me, you worker of iniquity! I never knew you! Don’t be the one He says that to. Clinging to a man-made helliday to honor Christ with is not worth it!
